CLUBHOUSE DRESS CODE

In the interests of maintaining a high standard, whilst accommodating modern requirements, Teesside Golf Club would request that Members, Guests and Visitors respect the following Dress Code to save embarrassment for all concerned.

The following is acceptable:

A good standard of Smart Casual dress must be worn in the Clubhouse and Smart Denim is permitted.
Modern Casual Shoes are permitted including Smart Trainers, Sandals, Loafers and Deck Shoes (NO Flip-flops). Men are also requested to wear socks (but this is not compulsory).
Smart Shirts with collar designed to be worn outside Trousers, Shorts or Skirts are permitted. Other shirts must be “tucked” in.
Tailored shorts may be worn in the clubhouse, sport shorts are not permitted.
All clothing, including Denim, must be clean and not faded, torn or soiled.

The following items are NOT acceptable:

Tracksuits or Shellsuits.
Clothing or T-shirts with slogans that may be offensive to others.
Sleeveless shirts, T-shirts without collars – men only.
Anoraks, Running shoes, Rugby/Football Shirts or Shorts, Combat and Camouflage Trousers.
Headgear (unless for Religious reasons).

GOLF COURSE DRESS CODE

MEMBERS AND VISITORS ARE EXPECTED TO MAINTAIN A HIGH STANDARD OF DRESS AT ALL TIMES ON THE GOLF COURSE.

Recognised Golf Shoes (Soft-spikes preferred) must be worn.
Men shall wear recognised Golf Shirts with collars or high neck polo shirt: (NO Football, Rugby or Shirts with indiscreet slogans or logos).
Shirts must be tucked inside trousers or shorts.
Ladies can also wear sleeveless tops with a collar or high neck or collarless tops with sleeves.
Trousers and Shorts must be of the tailored variety.
Socks must be worn with shorts at all times, these can be shoe, ankle or knee length and should be predominantly one colour.
Golf Caps and Headwear may only be worn with the peak to the front, and must be removed before entering the Clubhouse.

MOBILE PHONES (to be used only in emergency)

It is not possible to cover every eventuality therefore the Committee reserve the right to refuse entry to the Clubhouse/Course to anyone who is not reasonably dressed.
